Awareness in Etobicoke’s Beautiful Parks & Conservation Areas

Posted in Parks, Updates, Ward 5

A friendly reminder to take precautions while in enjoying Etobicoke’s beautiful parks, especially near ravines and where there is lots of vegetation. Most areas have warning signs advising against coyotes, other animals, and safety measures.

One of our local residents made this helpful list for those who frequent parks to:

a) keep all dogs leashed

b) supervise young children closely

c) dispose of food waste properly in garbage bins (food laying around = easy meals that may attract coyotes) especially in parks

d) keep cats in at night
